Returns and Refunds  

Under the Sale of Goods Act, Dees Creative Cakes are happy to replace or refund any damaged or faulty item, with proof of purchase. Item(s) returned without first arranging with us are done so at your own risk and cost. Item(s) should be returned in all original packaging. When the goods are faulty or damaged, and you opt for a refund over a replacement, we will happily refund the full amount you paid for the item(s), to the original payment method. 
 
Shipping costs are non refundable. 
 
You must contact us within 48 hours of receipt of your item(s) and return the item(s)within 14 days, with proof of purchase. Return postage costs are payable by the customer. 
 
Certain items are non refundable; edible, food-contact, customized or personalized items, cut ribbon and items specially ordered or made for the customer. 
 
If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Simply changing your mind does not automatically entitle you to a refund. 
 
We do not offer any additional guarantee or warranty over and above that offered by the manufacturer of each product. This is especially important for edible products, allergy, ingredients, best before dates and other intolerances, as we respectfully point out, the responsibility lies with the customer. 
 
We are not responsible for lost packages. 
 
We're sorry to advise that in most circumstances it is not possible to make changes to or cancel your order once it is placed. This includes making changes to delivery addresses. 

Deliveries 

Dees Creative Cakes aim to post all orders within a couple of days. As we use Royal Mail, we do advise our customers to allow up to a week for delivery. It is very rare for deliveries to take so long, but at exceptionally busy periods, and combined with adverse weather conditions, delays can be expected. So we say a week to be safe! 
 
As soon as your order has been posted, you will get an email confirming it is on its way. 
 
We do not process orders when the shop is closed, ie Sunday and Monday. Any orders made on these days will be processed on Tuesdays. 
 
Click and collect is available for local customers. Collection is to be made within 2 working days of placing the order. Click and collect orders are processed Tuesdays to Fridays only. Orders may be collected Saturdays before 1pm if placed before latest 3pm on Friday. Orders placed before 3pm Tuesdays to Fridays may be collected the same day. Orders placed after 3pm can be collected from 10am the next day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or Monday will be processed Tuesday. 
 
If delivery is attempted but unsuccessful it is the responsibility of the recipient to contact the delivery company. 
 
The customer is responsible for supplying the full and correct shipping address, orders will be sent to addresses as supplied.
